OVERVIEW

What Parent and Executive Concierge means?

Two kinds of people carry the heaviest invisible weight in international life. The parent whose child studies ten thousand miles away. And the executive whose decisions affect hundreds of families, yet lands in a foreign country with no one waiting at the gate.

Both carry the same quiet fear. Not a disaster. Small things going wrong far from home, with no one to call. A sick child at 3 a.m. Texas time. A missed connection before the year’s biggest meeting. A lease written in legal English that could mean anything. Psychologists call this cognitive load, the steady hum of worry that drains everything else. Parents feel it about their children. Executives feel it is about time. Both lose sleep to it.

Our Concierge service exists to carry that weight for you. MY-VIET, INC. has served families from 48 countries for 18 years, based in Dallas-Fort Worth, with hubs in Vietnam, Bangkok, Singapore, and Dubai. A bilingual team on the ground, treating your family’s business as carefully as you would.

Many parents carry quiet guilt about sending a child abroad. Many executives feel embarrassed asking for help. Both are common, and both are misplaced. Letting go of worry is not weakness. It is what frees love, and leadership, to do their real work.

Our Expertise

Families We Support

Over the years, the people who need this service most tend to arrive in one of these situations:

Parents in Vietnam, Asia, or the Middle East

whose children study, or will study, at U.S. or Canadian schools, and who want a trusted local adult presence: someone to help with housing, banking, doctors, school communication, and emergencies

Families choosing schools from abroad

who want honest guidance drawn from our network of more than 250 accredited universities and schools across the United States and Canada

Executives and business owners

visiting the U.S. with full schedules and no time to waste on logistics, translation gaps, or unvetted contacts

Corporate delegations

that need airport reception, transportation, interpretation, and a pre-arranged meeting itinerary that actually runs on time

Families in the middle of an immigration process

such as EB-5 Investment or L-1 business expansion, who need steady on-the-ground support between milestones

High-net-worth individuals

who value privacy and want one discreet point of contact instead of a dozen scattered vendors

If you have ever ended a phone call with your child overseas and sat in silence, wondering who would help them if something went wrong, this page was written for you.

Our Services

What MY-VIET, INC. Does in

Parent and Executive Concierge

For parents and students:

  • School selection guidance across our network of 250+ accredited universities and schools in the U.S. and Canada, matched to your child’s ability, personality, and budget, not to whoever pays commissions
  • Arrival support: airport pickup, housing setup, banking, phone service, and orientation to the local community
  • A local guardian-style contact for your child: a responsible, bilingual adult your family can reach when you cannot be here
  • Communication bridge with schools: helping parents understand report cards, school letters, medical forms, and meetings, translated and explained in your language
  • Health and emergency coordination: connecting students to doctors, insurance, and care, and keeping parents informed honestly and quickly
  • Regular updates home, because silence is the heaviest thing a parent can receive

For executives and investors:

  • Airport reception, accommodation coordination, and private transportation
  • Pre-scheduled meeting itineraries with vetted attorneys, CPAs, bankers, and real estate professionals
  • Vietnamese and English interpretation and translation throughout your visit
  • Real estate tour coordination with licensed agents
  • Government and consular coordination contacts when official matters require the right introduction
  • Document handling and administrative follow-up after you fly home, so decisions made in Dallas do not dissolve over the Pacific
  • Ongoing liaison services during and after any immigration process

Every professional we involve has been vetted for honesty and client care. That standard is not decoration. It is the reason this service works.

A word about how these two halves fit together, because they are more connected than they look. Many of our executive clients are also parents whose children study here. Many of our student families later become investors. Life does not divide itself into service categories, and neither do we. One team that already knows your family can support a campus visit on Tuesday and a bank meeting on Wednesday, and everything learned in one conversation makes the next one better. Families who want investment travel woven into the same visit often pair this service with our Investment Exploration Trip.

A Network

MY-VIET, INC. Built Over 18 Years

The most valuable thing we have built is not a list of contacts. It is trust, earned one relationship at a time.

Over the past 18 years, we have learned that families do not worry because they lack information. They worry because, when something unexpected happens, they do not know who they can trust. A student has trouble at school. A visa issue appears. A family needs legal guidance, housing, medical care, or business advice. In those moments, searching the internet is the last thing anyone wants to do. That is why we have spent years building relationships with people we know personally and are comfortable introducing to our own clients. Our network includes:

Immigration attorneys

we have come to trust for their honesty, ethics, and commitment to client care.

More than 250

accredited schools, colleges, and universities across the United States and Canada.

Long-standing government and consular coordination

contacts developed through years of experience.

International investors, real estate professionals, bankers, and business advisors

for families planning a broader move or investment.

Community organizations, nonprofits, and cultural groups

that help newcomers build a life, not just complete paperwork.

OUR APPROACH

How We Serve

Every family arrives with a different story. Before we recommend anything, we want to understand yours. We believe the best guidance begins with listening, not selling.

We begin with a conversation

We take time to understand your child's goals, your family's priorities, your concerns, and what success looks like for you.

We recommend only the support you truly need

Some families benefit from our standard services. Others require ongoing Concierge or Executive Concierge support. We will explain the difference honestly and let you decide.

We build a plan around your family

There is no one-size-fits-all checklist. Communication, timelines, and coordination are tailored to your needs and your child's journey.

We stay involved as the journey unfolds

From admissions and visa preparation to arrival, school life, and unexpected challenges, we remain a consistent point of contact whenever guidance is needed.

We help families make informed decisions

When appropriate, we research scholarships, compare schools, discuss budgets, and help you weigh opportunities with a long-term perspective.

We build relationships, not one-time transactions

Many parents first come to us for one child, then return years later for a younger sibling, graduate school, or the next chapter of their family's journey.

Every family arrives with a different story. Before we recommend anything, we want to understand yours. We believe the best guidance begins with listening, not selling.

Common Challenges

We Help Families Navigate

Every family’s story is different, but after more than 18 years, we have found that the biggest challenges are rarely just about schools or visas. They come from trying to protect a child’s future while living thousands of miles apart.

Making important decisions without local knowledge.

A website can describe a school, but it cannot tell you what daily life feels like. Choosing a school, neighborhood, or housing without trusted local guidance often leaves families relying on guesswork instead of experience.

Feeling disconnected from your child’s journey.

Parents often hear from their child only when everything seems fine or when something has already gone wrong. We believe steady, honest communication builds trust and brings peace of mind.

Wondering if your child is truly doing well.

Many students tell their parents, “I’m fine,” even when they are homesick, overwhelmed, or struggling quietly. Sometimes what families need most is someone nearby who notices the small changes before they become larger problems.

Missing opportunities simply because no one mentioned them.

Scholarships, internships, campus resources, and student support programs often exist, but families may never know where to find them. We help students discover opportunities before they pass by.

Managing multiple children and competing priorities.

Different schools, cities, deadlines, and academic plans can quickly become overwhelming. Having one experienced advisor helps families stay organized and move forward with confidence.

Not knowing who to trust.

International education attracts many advisors, agents, and well-meaning helpers. Some provide excellent guidance. Others do not. We believe it is better to tell an uncomfortable truth than make a promise we cannot keep.

Facing language and cultural barriers when they matter most.

Everyday conversations are one thing. Speaking with a school administrator, understanding a housing lease, discussing medical care, or resolving an urgent issue requires both language and cultural understanding.

Underestimating the full cost of studying abroad.

Tuition is only part of the journey. Housing, transportation, insurance, books, daily living expenses, and unexpected situations all deserve thoughtful planning from the beginning.

Losing momentum after arrival.

Once classes begin, students become busy and parents return to their own responsibilities. Questions, paperwork, school follow-ups, or important deadlines can easily be overlooked without someone helping coordinate the details.

Facing unexpected situations without a trusted guide.

A school transfer, housing concern, visa question, academic challenge, or personal difficulty can happen at any stage. Knowing who to call—and knowing that person already understands your situation can make all the difference.

Distance itself is often the greatest challenge. When parents do not hear anything, the mind naturally fills the silence with worry. A student who is simply busy can become, in a parent’s imagination, a student in trouble. That is why we believe regular, honest communication is not simply good service. It is one of the most meaningful ways we help families feel connected across the miles.

Our role is simple: to provide experienced guidance, trusted relationships, thoughtful follow-up, and a steady presence throughout your family’s journey—so you never have to navigate unfamiliar moments completely alone.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Documents You May Need

Every family arrives with a different story, different priorities, and different concerns. The more we understand from the beginning, the better we can guide you throughout the journey.
  • Your child’s academic background, current school, and future education goals
  • Schools or programs you are considering, including tuition, budget, and scholarship opportunities
  • Your family’s priorities, expectations, and any concerns you would like us to understand
  • The communication style that works best for your family, including how often you would like updates
  • Emergency contacts and authorization information for families using Concierge or Executive Concierge services
  • Any medical, personal, cultural, or special circumstances that may affect your child’s experience in the United States
  • Important timelines, such as application deadlines, visa appointments, or planned travel dates

The more openly we understand your family’s situation, the more thoughtfully we can plan ahead, anticipate challenges, and provide guidance that fits your child’s journey—not just the paperwork.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

How often will you update us on our child?

We build a communication schedule around your family’s preferences. For younger students and new arrivals, we check in more frequently, and you can always reach us directly.

Federal financial aid is generally not available to international students. Merit scholarships, departmental awards, and tuition waivers often are. We help you research what is realistically available at your target schools.

Schedule a consultation and tell us your situation honestly. We will tell you just as honestly whether our standard services already meet your needs, or whether the Executive Program is genuinely a better match. We do not upsell.

We help families understand who to contact at the school and connect them with the appropriate professionals in our network immediately.

Yes. We regularly work across language and cultural barriers to help facilitate communication between parents and school administrators.

No. Our standard Parent Concierge Services and Scholarship and Financial Guidance are available to every family we work with. The Executive Program is simply a deeper level of support for families whose situation calls for it.

Reasons

Why Families Choose MY-VIET, INC.

Families rarely come to us because they need help filling out forms. They come because they have spent years saving, planning, and hoping for a better future, and they know one decision can change the course of that journey.

For more than 18 years, we have had the privilege of walking beside families through that responsibility. We have seen the excitement of acceptance letters, the uncertainty before visa interviews, the loneliness of a student’s first months abroad, and the relief parents feel when they know someone they trust is looking out for their child. Those experiences have shaped how we work just as much as our knowledge of the process.

  • More than 18 years of experience, with our headquarters in Houston & Dallas–Fort Worth and regional hubs across Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
  • Families from 48 countries have trusted us to help guide their education, immigration, and international transition.
  • A carefully built network of trusted immigration attorneys, more than 250 accredited schools, and experienced professionals developed through nearly two decades of relationships.
  • One dedicated advisor who understands your family’s story and stays involved throughout the journey whenever possible, so you are not asked to start over with someone new each time.
  • Honest guidance, even when it is difficult. If we believe a school, a plan, or a timeline is not the right fit, we will tell you. We believe clear advice today prevents bigger disappointments tomorrow.
  • Support that goes beyond admissions. We continue helping families navigate the questions and challenges that arise long after a student arrives in the United States.

We do not believe trust is earned through promises. It is earned by being present, telling the truth, and standing beside families through both the exciting moments and the difficult ones. That is how we have chosen to serve our community for the past 18 years, and it remains the standard we hold ourselves to every day.
